40 WEEKS

No signs of Casey coming anytime soon. If I don't go into labor by my next doctors appointment (Tuesday the 22nd) then we will make a plan to induce. My doctor said she would offer to induce after the 25th & would insist on it the following week. We are not going to have to wait for her to insist. I'm ready for Casey to come! So probably next weekend at the latest?

I do not blame him for not wanting to coming out. I've totally indulged the last two weeks on cravings. Last weekend I made a Burger King run at 11:30pm!! Jack & I had gone to bed at 9pm and I woke up with the serious craving for a Whopper. Casey knows he will get way less bacon if he comes out. Smart kid.

How far along? 40 Weeks!!

Total weight gain: I’m up 21 pounds

Maternity clothes? All the way. Some of them no longer fit so I'm down to like three outfits that aren't all black (work clothes)

Stretch marks? They never came and I'm SO happy!!!!

Sleep: I'm waking up several times a night to pee and roll over. Rolling is HARD!

Best moment this week: Hitting my goal by STILL WORKING. I really wanted the bragging rights of saying I made it the full 40 weeks. I absolutely credit my job on helping me stay slimmer. (When I first started working there I lost 10 pounds the first few months) Bridal is HARD work as we are on our feet all day, running all over the store and repeatedly lifting 10-15+ pound gowns. I never called in and only went home early once due to shortness of breath. I'm feeling very super woman. AND if Casey doesn't show up I will probably go in Saturday and Sunday. We are slammed with appointments and this is definitely the WORST time of the year to take maternity leave.  

I'm guessing Jack's best moment was coming home Wednesday to me FINALLY packing my hospital bag. He has been nagging me to get it done for the past three weeks. Sorry babe!

Miss Anything? I would KILL for a drink.  As the girl who drinks maybe twice a year lets say I'm ready for a cocktail!

Movement: Constant. At the doctor Tuesday we were listening to Casey's heartbeat and for fun she moved the mic over to his swinging limbs which were jabbing out of my side. He is a crazy mover for sure!!

Food cravings: Everything. Bacon Cheeseburgers, French fries, Mexican food & still hot chocolate of course.

Anything making you queasy or sick: The idea of pushing this kid out!

Gender: Boy!

Labor Signs: Nothing is happening!!

Symptoms: Uber fat ankles or cankles at this point.

Belly Button in or out? Flat flat and so strange looking.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy unless it's time to get dressed. What a chore!
